For authors

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan included the scientific and technical magazine Oil & Gas in the list of priority scientific publications recommended for publication of major scientific findings of applicants for academic degrees of doctor of philosophy Ph.D., master, ranks of associate professor and professor.

Publication languages: Kazakh, Russian, English. Summary (abstract) with capacity of up to 250 words and key words (a maximum of 10) - in these three languages, UDC identifier is required. Summary is an advertisement that is placed in abstract publications including English-language ones, it contains information on major findings and conclusions of an author(s).

An article heading (a maximum of 45 characters) should serve as its resume. Assessment criterion for material is essential novelty. Competence of an author(s), novelty and level of studies should be confirmed by a brief review (in the beginning of an article) of the world and Kazakhstan’s literature quoting the sources.

An article should end with a list of references in order of mention in the text according to GOST 7.1-2003: for monographs - a surname and initials of an author(s), title, place of publication, year, volume, pages of the quotation; for periodicals: surname, initials of an author(s), title, place of publication, year, issue, pages.

Information on an author (authors): scientific degree, rank, title, organization or place of work, telephone numbers (critical in preparation for publication), full postal address - all this is on every

author, as well as soft copy of an article, summary, organization name, e-mail addresses and numbers with country and city codes. It is desirable that the number of authors not exceed 3-4 persons.

A colour photo of an author(s) in jpg format is placed at the beginning of a publication; illustrations should be in the form of files in TIFF, EPS formats, with resolution of at least 300 dpi (each one with a reference in the text).

Works carried out jointly with known Kazakhstan’s and foreign scientists are welcome.

Materials published in other journals are not acceptable.

Articles that have not been approved by our experts will not be published and will not be returned.
